Schuyler Lake lives and works in Tecolotito, New Mexico. He was born in Detroit in 1946, and he studied art at Wayne State University and at the Minneapolis Museum of Art School of Design. Mr. Lake left the USA during the Vietnam war and moved to Montreal, Quebec, where he taught at the Montreal Museum School of Art. Schuyler has lived, worked, and exhibited in Montreal and Vancouver; Los Angeles, California; Seattle, Washington; Lorient, Brittany; Zurich, Switzerland; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Pietrasanta, Italy; and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
